Meeting Schedule

The Texas State Human Resources Association holds meetings every two months. The topics range from personal development to legislative updates. The meetings take on the following format:

  • Registration at 8:30 a.m.
  • Program at 9:00 a.m. (Presentation topics vary)
  • Workshop at 10:15 a.m. (Topics more technical in nature)
  • Adjourn at 11:30 p.m.


  • The meetings regularly take place at the following location:

    >>Meeting Notes: Information presented by Jim Scogin, Council on Competitive Government, regarding agency Human Resources costs for agencies with less than 500 employees (may take a moment to load, large document). This information was compiled using information obtained from agencies during the latest survey of the CCG. All the HR functions included, in detail, and whether they are inherently governmental in nature (GIN). A blank version of the survey that agencies completed this past spring.
